erry Christmas 2003Well, here we are again, with another year passed. We still have our health and happiness, just a little older and hopefully a little wiser.
We have been working around the house this year, and haven’t done the visits to Lapine that we thought we would. It seems like everything has slowed down now that Jim doesn’t go off to a job every day. The house is slowly getting into better shape, and we have plans to visit friends in Arizona in February. We both lost a week just before Thanksgiving due to a cold or flu bug that wants to linger on, but are otherwise doing fine. Linda’s knees are OK, just the problem with weather changes causing some pain.
Linda plans to quit selling Avon after the first of the year. 26 years is long enough, and her heart hasn’t been in it for some time now. Jim and his sister Janet are phasing down the BrownBox Computer business. Neither of them wishes to have to answer the phone every day. They will continue to support their long-time customers, but will cease all advertising.
Jason is still driving the lift buses for Tri-Met, but Heidi took some time off this summer to be with April. She is working part time again now, and has decided that she needs to go back to school to learn a trade. She’s been interested in cake decorating as a hobby, and has now enrolled in Western Culinary Institute’s pastry chef program. She will start her classes early next year. April is growing like a weed, what else can we say. She is very
cute, and knows it.

That’s about it for us this year. We hope that all of you had a great year in 2003, and wish you nothing but the best in 2004.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours.
